Explanatory Notes:
1. English Support – After initial testing, students deemed to require additional support in English will be placed in an English Support class in Column 1. The final decision about which students must take this subject will be made by the English Department: this is not an option. The aim of these lessons is to help students with the English that they need for the successful study of linguistically demanding subjects such as Biology, History and Religious Studies and also to access the wider curriculum in English. Please choose options in Column 1 bearing in mind that it may not be possible to follow this course.
2. First Language – Students may also take a GCSE examination in their own language in Year 10 (form 4), but no tuition is given.
• Students over 13 years of age can choose to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

COLLEGE FEES
If and when a place is offered and accepted, a deposit will be required to secure the place. Deposits will be retained by the College and credited without interest to the final account when the student leaves the College. Please note that deposits will not be refunded if the student withdraws having held a place that could have been given to another student. You will also be required to enter into a contract with Concord College.
A non-refundable registration fee of £300 is payable for all applications for a Boarding place at the College. This may be paid either by bank transfer, Credit/Debit card or Cheque (drawn on a UK bank account). If you wish to pay via bank transfer or Credit/Debit card, please contact the Admissions Secretary (Admissions@concordcollege.org.uk) for further details. We are unable to process the application until the above fee has been received.
Once you have submitted the completed application form, please forward copies of examination certificates or statements of results of examinations already taken by the student (showing subjects and grades). Please also forward copies of the student’s school reports covering the last two years plus a copy of their passport. These can be emailed as attachments to the Admissions Secretary or sent to the College by fax to: (+44) 1694 731389.
DECLARATION
We request that the above named child be registered as a prospective student for Concord College and understand that registration does not secure a place at the College but does ensure that the student will be considered for selection as a student. We confirm that we have read the Admissions Policy (http://www.concordcollegeuk.com/about/policies/) and that the applicant meets the criteria for entry into the College’s Lower School.

You will receive a confirmation email on submission of application form.
